Innovative Personalised Lenses

The practice has recently acquired an Essilor Eyecode instrument – an all in one frame measuring system which is five times more accurate at measuring patients for spectacle lenses.

The Eyecode insturment allows the patient to have a truly personalised lens through the measurement of the Eye Rotation Centre.  This non invasive technology – which does not require drops – takes two images of the patient’s eye to determine the perfect lens size and is accurate to 0.1mm.

 

Alongside the practice’s wide range of spectacle frames and lens options, this technology allows the patient to have truly personalised spectacles – both in style choice and size.
